Dan Nelson isn't just the owner of Nature By Design — he's a Battle Ground native
who grew up with his hands in the soil of Clark County. He knows these neighborhoods. He
knows the seasons, the soil, and the families that live here. That's not something you can
replicate from a corporate office.
Over two decades ago, Dan founded Nature By Design with a single, unwavering goal in mind:
to build something that would last. Not just beautiful landscapes — but real relationships,
a team he could be proud of, and a standard of craftsmanship that would still be standing
long after the last stone was laid.
What started as one man with a vision has grown into one of Clark County's most respected
